ALL ABOUT TRAIT TESTING
Trait test requests can be very confusing. We have been receiving many requests for trait testing of corn and soybean recently.
Some of the submissions that we have been receiving are very vague about the testing required. This makes it extremely difficult for us to process your sample in a timely manner.
Please keep in mind that if we receive a sample that states “All Conventional Tests” we determine the tests requested based on the seed type. This means we would do the ELISA testing AND the Herbicide Bioassay testing. Each ELISA test can cost from $80 to $100 and the bioassay tests are $40 each. We do not want you to have to pay for tests that you do not need so we are asking that you include more specific information on your sample bags and submission forms.
