Meet Jessica, an integral part of the Seed Lab family since 2008. Her journey began as a dedicated student in the germination lab during her undergraduate years at Iowa State University. With a Bachelor of Biology degree, specializing in botany, earned in 2010, Jessica seamlessly transitioned into a full-time role. In 2013, she proudly attained the title of Registered Seed Technologist, showcasing her expertise across various seed lab domains.
For Jessica, the allure of her job lies in the fusion of academic knowledge with real-world applications, continually enriching her understanding of seeds. As she embarks on her new role, she is eager to uphold the seed lab’s current success while exploring avenues for growth. A key objective on her agenda is to enhance the digital accessibility and precision of customer information, streamlining operations for improved efficiency.
Beyond the lab, Jessica’s world revolves around her vibrant family life, chasing after her spirited 3- and 6-year-old daughters. Fueling her passion for botany, she delights in identifying and collecting the diverse array of seeds her daughters eagerly bring her.
