Holiday Planting Schedule – Important Dates
HO, HO, HO!! Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming!
Because the holidays are a wonderful time of year to spend with family and friends, the time away from the lab does cause some issues with our turnaround times.
Many of our lab staff are student employees that will be taking finals and leaving for break through January 15. This is something unique to our lab and does at times cause staffing issues and delays in customers receiving their results.
To assist you in your planning, we want to give you some target dates to think about.
- Lab Closed: Monday – Wednesday, December 25-27
- Lab Closed: Monday, January 1
- Limited Lab Staff: December 18 – January 15
REGARDING YOUR SAMPLES:
- Any samples arriving to our non-health testing lab after December 8th will likely not be planted until December 21st.
- The week of December 25 will have extremely limited staffing, particularly in the health testing lab. Please add at least 5 business days to your normal results window during this time.
We want to be pro-active and make our customers aware of this now. Please plan accordingly.
